About The Course

This Course has been designed for engineers new to the offshore industry, those transferring from other disciplines within the industry and those who have worked in the subsea job area previously but would like to benefit from a refresher course and learn about the latest subsea technology in the oil and gas industry.

All modules are presented in the classroom, the sessions will be interactive, with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been learned. Visual animations, pictures and software demonstrations have been included to enhance the learning experience.

Course Objectives

• Understanding of the issues of subsea systems ranging from conceptual design to hardware components
• Understanding of subsea system design analysis
• Knowledge of aspects of design and operations of subsea intervention systems (ROVs, AUVs)
